Will AI tools like chat GPT, Bing Chat, and Copy.AI replace content writers in the future?
Recently, there has been a lot of news about mass layoffs in big IT and software companies, which has created panic. With the growth of AI tools and the threat AI can replace humans has also become a major concern.
Do you think AI was the reason for these layoffs?
Many argue that AI can provide some benefits to a company, like completing work faster, reducing employee wages, and much more. However, there is a silver lining. Instead of being threatened by AI, it could also be used to help improve the efficacy of our work. The question is, how?
To find out the answers, read my blog, where I will explain what AI is, what role AI plays in content writing, whether content writers should be concerned about their jobs, and how AI and humans can collaborate.
Role of AI in content writing
AI has become increasingly important in content writing, offering a range of benefits to content creators and marketers alike. One of the most significant advantages of AI in content writing is the ability to generate high-quality content quickly and efficiently. Blog writing can be time-consuming for humans but not for AI. An AI can focus on content keywords or headlines and produce copy that a human writer takes much longer time while comparing with AI, Along with writing the blog, an AI tool also helps you to create AD copy which helps you to drive sales and conversions writing social media and advertisement copy is frictionless for AI generator tool.
AI tools not only write the blog for you. It also provides tips for optimizing your content to rank higher in search engine result pages.
Does the Content writer need to worry about the growth of Chat GPT.
While I am not certain that AI will replace content writers and leave us unemployed. for example, if we take Grammarly it does not replace the work of copy editors. Because of several characteristics Chat GPT lacks when compared to human writing.Chat GPT cannot meet the needs of human emotions, brand value, creativity, and many other factors.
Here are a list of features that chat GPT can't full fill human needs.
Lack of human appeal
Every brand has a distinct style and set of feelings, which the business owners will give priority to. In the meantime, Chat gpt's material is monotonous and cannot satisfy the expectations of its customers.
Judgement
AI has made significant progress when it comes to writing short-form content. For instance, if we ask a chatbot to write an article of 500 words, it can accurately produce content that meets the specified word count without any grammatical errors. However, AI still struggles to create coherent, valuable, and engaging content that meets the needs of the audience. This is because of the limitations of its prompt and the lack of research capabilities. Unlike humans, AI cannot write in a natural flow and change the tone or style of writing to suit the audience's preferences. Therefore, while AI can help generate content quickly and accurately, it still requires human input to create content that resonates with readers and meets their needs.
Variation
If our client needs to like our content, one needs to change the structure and length of the sentence and should vary the words and phrases. AI tools are unable to replicate this quality of human writer into the text.
Creativity
Crafting a captivating headline, Humans are capable of coming up with catchy slogans because of their desire for effect and thorough research into the market. While an AI writing tool will struggle to produce original text. These tools are adept at compiling data and spotting patterns, but they have not yet grown into self-aware beings.
How human and AI tools can work together?
No one is born intelligent and incapable of making grammatical mistakes while creating a sentence. while someone writes, they inevitably make mistakes in punctuation, grammar, and phrase construction. If so, we can utilize our life-saving to make amends for our errors. Today's bloggers, news reporters, novelists, and Ph.D. students all chose AI tools to avoid plagiarism, grammatical errors, and content generators, among other things. Finally, we need to adjust to a new workplace where AI and humans work together rather than against one another.
